David V. Roth has extensive experience in the prosecution and defense of a wide range of civil matters including claims of wrongful death, brain injury, catastrophic orthopedic injuries, and food borne illnesses.  He has litigated and tried matters involving firearms, brain injury accidents, construction site injuries, manufacturing and warehouse accidents, catastrophic fire and water loss incidents, auto accidents, toxic tort injuries, land disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and outbreaks of food borne illnesses.

Mr. Roth began his career in asbestos litigation.  In late 1999 he helped start the firm of Cholakian & Associates.  In 2007, he resigned his partnership from the national firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith to form Matiasic Roth & Johnson.

David V. Roth was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  He moved to Northern California to attend the University of California at Santa Cruz from where he studied Politics and Theatre.  He received his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law.  He remains active with his law school volunteering for the Appellate Advocacy and Mock Trial programs.  Mr. Roth lives in Concord and serves clients throughout the Bay Area including Contra Costa County.
